Hi Chris - first decide if you want to use Frugal or are happy to wait a week or 2 for Catalyst. If you are happy to pay now for the single Frugal licence at $62, see discount above, in a couple of weeks the new Catalyst is being given to people with a Frugal licence. Catalyst come with an unlimited licence - you can use it on as many site as you own. You can't use it on sites for other people.

If you want to use Frugal on multiple sites (that you own) then you need the developer licence. Plus you will get the free developer version of Catalyst when it comes out. The $40 is to have it on websites you don't own - a client licence.

I have bought the Single site licence for $62 - I'll use it on one site and then wait on Catalyst. In the meantime I'm pretty sure if you learn Frugal it will be similar to Catalyst so the time you spend won't be entirely wasted. For me it's a matter of saving a few dollars - if you have the extra money and you want to use frugal of many sites and also use Catalyst on many sites then buy the developer licence.

@Kronis - I wasn't picking on you - I just thought we got ABB so cheap that I don't mind Mike making a bit more out of me. I'm happy for Mike to get a commission - I reckon he earns it !!!! Besides he gives us plenty for free

@Glenis, thanks for explaining that, it makes sense now. Sounds like the way to go, think i'll get a single Frugal and then get unlimited Catalyst when it comes out. It looks great, i can't wait to check it out. I appreciate your help, thanks again.
