Join Campaign against the Wal Mart Affiliate Tax Law
Hello All,
I got this email from a gentleman called Pace Lattin with regards to the Affiliate Tax Law and how Wal Mart are the ones funding it. He is looking for people to link to an article and start a campaign highlighting what Wal Mart are doing and the effect on many peoples livelihoods, have a read and decide if you want to help out:

As you may, or may not know, the Affiliate Tax issue is one of my biggest causes right now. As a supporter of small businesses in the United States, I believe that their success is important in order for us to leave this economic downturn. As part of my reporting and writing about the issue, I decided it was time to really expose who was behind the affiliate tax issues: Wal-Mart. I’ve pointed this out before and gained some attention, but still people don’t get it. I’m hoping that with this article, small businesses might understand that if they are for “affiliate taxes” then they are against themselves.
Please I ask that you read this article, then write a summary in your blogs and link to it.

If you need any affiliate nexus tax articles written, or anyone to explain how it hurts the entire industry, please email me. There are a lot of issues not being talked about.
Best wishes,
Pace Lattin

Thank you Mike,
Was looking at the success stories topic and ran into this post, seems ABB members are being effected by this, this member was having success with ABB and then Amazon stopped taking affiliates in her state:

Have no doubt your contribution will see the campaign become unstoppable so that ABB members soon to be Profit.fm members will succeed!
Kind regards,

I would like to say upfront that I'm ignorant on this topic. My question is, Why shouldn't Amazon pay taxes? Or are they already paying a sales tax and these are additional taxes on affiliates?
Does Amazon have an advantage over Wal-Mart for not paying sales tax?

Click on the link and read Pace Lattin's article, this explains the big picture, if you agree then help him out if not then perhaps email him and explain why, this will help Pace understand why it is affliates are not getting it so he can better formulate his campaign.
If taxes were being avoided then the Supreme Court would not have ruled in affiliates favor which is why Wal-Mart are funding it state by state. No one is avoiding any taxes.
